Delete your NotGPT account

You can permanently delete your NotGPT account at any time, either in the app or by contacting us by email.

Deletion is permanent

Deleting your account cannot be undone. Your detection history and account data will be removed and cannot be recovered.

Option 1: Delete in the app

  1. 1Open the NotGPT app and sign in.
  2. 2Tap your profile picture in the top-right corner to open Settings.
  3. 3Scroll to the Account section and tap Delete Account.
  4. 4Confirm the deletion.

Option 2: Request deletion by email

Send an email to support@notgpt.app from the email address linked to your NotGPT account, with the subject "Delete my account". We may ask you to confirm the request before we delete the account.

What we delete

  • Your account and sign-in information
  • Your detection history, including the text and images you submitted and their results
  • Your settings and preferences

What may be kept

Subscription and payment records are handled by Apple or Google and are governed by their policies. To cancel a subscription, manage it in your App Store or Google Play account — deleting your NotGPT account does not cancel it automatically. We may keep limited records where the law requires us to.

How long it takes

Deletion requests sent by email are completed within 30 days.
